"We are proud to have also won over Rome."

Chervò, Rome and golf: a winning trio that has grown exponentially in recent years. Since 2016, the Italian brand has been an “Official Licensee” of the Ryder Cup, as part of a multi-year agreement. A prestigious collaboration with the world’s third most-watched sporting event and a milestone that makes us proud of the golf apparel-related progress we have achieved in the last few years. Now, Chervò will be even more intrinsically linked to Rome, the Eternal City. For the first time, a mono-brand pro-shop has set up shop at none other than Italy’s oldest golf club, the Roma Acquasanta. This 1903-established club is a cut above the rest when it comes to tradition, prestige and history. The list of top players and famous people (kings, queens, cardinals, Monsignors, generals and actors) to have graced the 18-hole course is endless. Furthermore, its century-old history can be fully admired along the fairways surrounded by the Claudio Aqueduct and the Tomb of Cecilia Metella, plus overlooked by the Basilica of St John Lateran and the legendary St Peter’s Basilica.

“We are proud to have also won over Rome - the current Caput Mundi of golf, thanks to the 2023 Ryder Cup - with the opening of our 10th mono-brand Chervò store in Italy. This pro-shop was renovated and refurbished in record time inside this prestigious Rome-based club’s oldest Italian clubhouse.” As stated by Manfred Erlacher, the CEO of this Italian company which will celebrate its 40 years in business this year.

And the buzzword is: elegance. That is exactly what comes to mind as soon as you walk through the pro-shop’s door: warm hues and premium-quality handmade light oak furniture that’s in keeping with the Chervò product range. “The design of our mono-brand stores,” continues Manfred Erlacher, “is centred around light tones to make the garments stand out and ensure maximum brightness inside the pro-shops. The elegant walls and islands harmoniously and non-invasively blend in with even the most diverse golf club furnishing styles, allowing for a reasonably quick and simple set-up that is also bound to astound.”

All golf enthusiasts and visitors to the Roma Acquasanta’s historic clubhouse will be able to set their sights on and purchase the Chervò clothing range; made distinctive by its ultra-high technical performance and unexpected fits. A prime example of which is the AW 2021-2022 collection inspired by nature, the sunsets that tinge the snow-capped mountains and the mysterious charm of the Italian Alpine villages, in addition to the Mediterranean collection that best epitomises Italian roots. This will be shortly followed by the brand-new Spring/Summer 2022 line that will grace the actual and virtual shelves at the end of February. At this Rome-based pro-shop - similarly to all the other mono-brand stores - the client can rely on a comprehensive service, thanks to the Retail division’s consolidated organisation.

"By dint of extensive experience and an optimal structure, we always achieve the best results in terms of profit optimisation and the service provided to the host club, without compromising on end customer satisfaction and loyalty. This year round-provided continuous service encompasses basic orders, restocking, manufacturing club logo-specific products and selecting the best products on the market - not just Chervò ones - to propose a wide range of equipment that meets the needs of both members and external guests. Our timeliness, high-quality offering and nothing-but-courteous well-trained staff ensure an optimum in-store shopping experience every time.”
